Non-Discrimination Policy
The Historic Triangle Senior Center is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in or denied the benefits of the transit services we offer. This policy is consistent with the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which provides: "No person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance".
If you believe you have been subjected to unequal treatment because of race, color or national origin, then you have the right to file a formal complaint. Complaints may be filed within one hundred-eighty (180) days following the date of the alleged discriminatory action. RIDES
RIDES provides non-emergency medical transportation to seniors 55 and older and the disabled of any age who live in James City County, the City of Williamsburg, and the Bruton District of York.
